Hello, brainbabe! I was very involved with nonprofit fund of funds for years …. So here are some ideas that I could be relatively inexpensive for their cause … 1) Consider a mail campaign – in the number of email addresses they have, you never know how many people could answer their question and you write a check! It works amazingly well for several organizations that have limited time and resources. 2) Consider running an online auction – this is a great tool for touch people with email addresses that do not (ie you have their e-mail) … based e-mail may feel like they are using their sustainable income in great things and go their community at the same time! I included a link to one of the online auction companies that I worked … cMarket. They also have another site BiddingforGood.com, which opens the bidding to all its members for people not know and can not donate to their cause and bid on your items! 3) Instead of having a garage sale at home, try to make a garage "sale on eBay! Think of it as a virtual way to get rid certain things and make more money … (Remember to include the cost of shipping items online or you'll end up losing money!). 4) Have a fundraising event – give people in your community something to hope for, and host a gala …. We can sell tickets, have an auction, raffles, etc., that will give your church something to look forward and the opportunity to give something important to them. 5) One last tid bit – consider selling sponsorships for your events … This can help establish some of its incredible coast outside. You'd be surprised how many local businesses want to be part of your event due to the spirit! You can ask around about $ 500 per developer and if you turn to online auctions, you can ask much more than that, because they will get just that much more exposure on its website and emails event! Good luck to all!
